1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Zero Lock, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all use of our services. Zero Lock is a high-security cryptographic tool, and use of this tool implies your understanding of the technical responsibilities involved.
2. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Master Password and ZLCK Recovery Key. Zero Lock is an absolute zero-knowledge platform; we do not store your Master Password, your local encryption keys, or your site metadata. We only store an encrypted recovery blob. If you lose both your Master Password and your ZLCK Recovery Key, your data is permanently locked and irrecoverable. Please note: Your Account Login (Email) is strictly for identity verification. Resetting your account email password will NOT recover your Master Password or grant access to your encrypted data.
3. Permitted Use
Zero Lock is provided for lawful purposes only. You may not use our platform to store illegal materials or conduct activities that violate international laws. We reserve the right to terminate service (local access) if we detect abuse of our API infrastructure, though we have no insight into your stored content.
4. Intellectual Property
The Zero Lock software, including but not limited to the branding, user interface, and proprietary security implementations, is the intellectual property of Zero Lock. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform as intended.
5. Limitation of Liability
Zero Lock and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the service. This includes data loss, security breaches occurring on the user's local machine, or failure of cloud infrastructure providers.
